Game Day Spoiler Alert: Hope Wins!!!

By October 10, 2014 No Comments

You may have noticed that the past 4 posts were all based on the words of the Apostle Paul in a book called Romans.  It’s interesting that of all the books Paul wrote, Romans has more to say about HOPE than any others.  Paul was overflowing with HOPE it seems. But it was not just confined to Paul’s life. He wanted HOPE for everyone.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

There it is again. HOPE! Overflowing HOPE!

Our YC GAME DAY prayer is that God will fill us up with His joy and peace and what will spill over the brim of our lives will be nothing short of HOPE!  That kind of HOPE glorifies the source of all HOPE! That kind of HOPE conquers every enemy. That kind of HOPE changes the world.
