Countdown to Launch – T-minus 4

By October 4, 2016 No Comments

So oxygen levels have tested out. Not we move to the multitude of status checks. Team leaders give verbal confirmation that all systems are go. Test Conductors, Flight Directors, Project Engineers, Safety Coordinators, Operations Managers, and a host of team members work together to ensure the launch is safe and successful.  It’s no different with our LAUNCH.  This is a team effort and every team member matters.  In our age of individualism, we can miss the power of the collective. We ALL have an important part to play.  The LAUNCH doesn’t happen without the whole team and in fact if one team member falters the whole mission is in jeopardy.

Am I over exaggerating? Not according to the apostle Paul:

All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. (1 Cor. ‪12:27 NLT)

Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. (Romans 12:4-6 NLT)

Yes, the part you play matters. It matters practically and it matter eternally.  So no matter what part you play, play it well. This is no place for a “one person show”. So don’t try to be the best player on the team. Be the best team player. Play hard. Play to win this generation. Play to win for our King, the undefeated One!
